"I love the immediate nature of pastels and how you can quickly capture the essence of a scene."

— Dawn

Dawn’s full quote

“I love painting the landscape and I am constantly inspired by the interplay of light, atmosphere and texture. I love the immediate nature of pastels and how you can quickly capture the essence of a scene. My paintings are bold and colourful with expressive mark making.
